Sculptural jewelry for expressive wear
Oxidized copper · Hand-pierced openwork
Sculptural, not delicate. This stud makes a statement without a single stone — just copper, cut and pierced into a free-form silhouette, then left to oxidize into its own verdigris finish. It moves like it was found, not made: something between coral, lichen, and a leaf caught mid-decay. The verdigris reads beautifully against warm neutrals, black, blues and deep greens — worn as the one striking detail in an otherwise simple look.
Part of the Patina line — Frog Aspect's ongoing work in oxidized copper, where the material's own transformation becomes the design.
Materials: Oxidized copper, Silver stud back
Dimensions: L : 1.8” W 1.4”
Patina · Surface as landscape
Two oxidized copper forms, connected by a link — not fused, not fixed, but held together in a way that lets each layer move independently. The same curve traced twice, slightly shifted, joined at the center by a chain-like detail that becomes part of the design. The patina shifts between teal, black, and gold depending on the light.
Hand-fabricated in Brooklyn. The finish ages with wear — each pair develops its own surface over time.
Materials: Oxidized copper, gold highlights, clear coating, sterling silver post.
Dimensions: L 2.2 in × W 1.0 in Finish: Hand-applied patina, sealed to preserve color and texture.
Note: Each piece is handmade and uniquely oxidized — patina patterns and tones may vary slightly.
Form in miniature. The same sculpted language as the necklace — stacked discs, a rising wrapped column — brought close to the face.
Brass structure wrapped entirely in spandex. Soft to the touch, resolved in shape. The charcoal grey and mauve pink are a pairing that already knew each other.
Wear them to an opening, or to dinner. The kind of earring that starts a conversation without asking for one.
Materials: spandex, brass, silver-plated brass ear wire.
Dimensions: L 1.45" W 1" Lightweight.
The original shapeshifter. Handmade fabric cocoon beads in a warm neutral palette on an adjustable cord. Wear it as a pendant, double-loop it as a choker, or knot it for a different silhouette entirely. One necklace, many looks — the definition of wearable art.
Materials: wood, fabric, wax thread
Dimensions : L- 39 inch * W- 2.7 inch / L 100 cm* w 7 cm
Softness, held by structure. Black fades through red along a sculpted spandex form, shaped by metal discs pressed by hand into the fabric — each one a small architectural moment along the length. Wear it long, double it for a closer layered fit, or rotate the strand to shift which tones face out. A bolder gradient, same quiet presence.
Materials: spandex, metal discs, magnet clasp.
Dimensions: L 25.5 “ W 0.8”
Hand-wrapped · Textile over wood · Wax cord
Transformation, worn.
Each bead is wrapped by hand in metallic bronze fabric over a wood core — warm, luminous, and textured in a way that photographs can't quite capture. Strung in a cascading stack on an adjustable wax cord, the forms taper and swell like something mid-metamorphosis. Lightweight despite how substantial it looks.
One of Frog Aspect's best-loved styles, now in a new colorway.
Materials: metallic fabric, wood, wax cord
Dimensions: L- 39 inch * W- 2.7 inch / L 100 cm* w 7 cm. / adjustable length
Brushed brass • Architectural form
A brass circle interrupted by a raised half-form.
A curved plane lifts from the surface, creating depth through overlap, shadow, and proportion — shifting subtly as it catches the light.
Eclipse explores the tension between flatness and structure, between a circle as surface and a circle as object. The elevated half-form creates a subtle sense of movement and partial concealment, echoing the shifting geometry of an eclipse.
Oversized by design. Minimal yet sculptural — a bold geometric statement that relies on form rather than ornament.
Handmade in brushed brass with sterling silver post and backs.
Dimensions:
Oversized scale — approximately 1.625” (4.1 cm) in diameter
Softness, held by structure. Pink fades through grey along a sculpted spandex form, shaped by metal discs pressed by hand into the fabric — each one a small architectural moment along the length. Wear it long, double it for a closer layered fit, or rotate the strand to shift which tones face out. A quiet gradient with real presence.

Frog Aspect is a Brooklyn-based art jewelry studio founded in 2008 by Einat Cohen. The work explores texture, structure, and movement through experimental materials and sculptural form.
Oxidized copper · Hand-pierced openwork
A circular form, hand-cut and pierced, then left to oxidize until the verdigris took hold on its own terms. The cluster of open shapes reads like something worn by tide and time — coral, sea glass, a fragment pulled up from somewhere older. Lightweight despite the presence, they catch light differently depending on how they turn.
