Since starting my business in 2008, I've pushed the limits of fabric exploration. Now, I'm delving into a new favorite material: paper. "Pieces" is my innovative jewelry line using Tyvek paper and resin. Tyvek, known for its durability and water resistance, offers unique manipulation due to its nylon fibers. Applying heat during the crafting process creates organic textures as the material shrinks. Infused with resin, each piece gains weight and distinct form, making them one-of-a-kind due to the randomness in the creative process. This changeability mirrors my constant analysis and understanding of life through creation.
